How to get a place at Whaddon School

How to apply for a place at Whaddon School for Reception class September 2024
We understand that selecting a school for your child is one of the biggest decisions you will make for them.
It is important that you feel that you have all the information you need to make that decision. This is why we welcome parents to our school for open mornings in October and January, so you have the opportunity to see our lovely school and the ways the children learn, in their educational journey with us.
Being in our school really gives you a feeling of our Christian vision, school values and educational ethos.
Open morning dates are on the calendar section of our website.
After meeting us and seeing our wonderful setting, should you feel that Whaddon C of E School is the right fit for your child, you can apply for a place via the Buckinghamshire council school admissions webpage.
In the admissions section, you will find links to key admission dates and when you need to submit your school applications. It is always a good idea to put down more than one school, to ensure your child had a school place for September 2024.
If you live outside of Buckinghamshire (Milton Keynes) you should still use the Buckinghamshire council website to access the portal and register your school choice.
As a voluntary aided Church of England School, we set our own admissions criteria and, as such, we prioritise those applications from families with  children within our catchment area.   This does not mean that families outside of our catchment cannot apply for a place- or that they will not be successful in gaining a place.
For more information on our ranking criteria, please look at the admissions policy in this section of our website.
We welcome all children and families, but are restricted to 12 places.
