If your child bumps their head whilst at school, a letter will be sent home and often an orange bracelet will be worn. Children will receive a small A5 note detailing any small accidents that have occurred and parents will be notified immediately if they have sustained significant harm (cuts, bruises, bumps, breaks) especially if these things need additional First Aid or care outside of school. Accidents that happen in school will be recorded in our accident book.
We keep track of medication that needs to be kept in school, you will be asked to fill in a form if these are required to stay in school, for example, inhalers or EpiPens.
If your child requires prescribed medicine administered more than three times a day, please download the medicines form below, fill it in, sign it and send it in to school with the medicine in its original bottle/box with surgery instructions and date on. Staff can then administer the medicine appropriately. (If prescribed medicine is required three times a day or less, then please administer before school, after school and at bedtime).
Please see our policies page for further information.
