Across their time at Whaddon School, children will learn about History through a variety of primary and secondary sources! They will explore, investigate, learn and question, using their own experiences to help inform their learning, understanding, comprehension and embed timelines.
Our goal is to create rounded learners with a good understanding of global impact and effects of history as we are learning and as it is happening around us!
Our children share their thoughts about History:
"It's fun exploring our history and developing timelines, I can't believe we have made so much cool technology and got through so much as humans." Foxes.
"I loved learning about the Stone Age! I like how we learn all about the past and how different it was. There are so many amazing people, I like thinking about how we all survived." Badgers.
"I love History, we looked at us as babies and put them from youngest to oldest. We were so cute!" Squirrels.
