At our school, we set weekly homework for children across the school. The quantity and focus of subjects for this will change over time.
Homework refers to tasks given to pupils by their teachers to be completed outside of usual lessons (usually at home, but may be elsewhere outside of school!).
Homework activities vary significantly, particularly between younger and older pupils, including but not limited to home reading activities, projects or gathering information and more directed and focused work such as revision for tests. Pupils may be set homework to prepare at home for classroom discussion and application tasks.
