We are a mixed Year 3/4 class.
We are taught by Teacher Read and our Teaching Assistant is Mrs. Bass.
Badgers' Class - Our table pots each have different Badger Groups: "True", Hog, Ferret and Honey!

Announcements
Year 3 and 4 are not provided with a snack (but may be in emergency situations). Please ensure that your child brings in an appropriate fruit snack for their breaktime. This will be eaten during their break, after handwashing, whilst seated. Any dietary requirements or medical needs (ie. allergies) should be updated with the school office.
Reminder: provide your child with weather appropriate clothing for the day- it's been very 'British' at the moment! Coats, hats, boots, etc. may all be sent in to add to pegs.
Badgers' Class PE will be on Wednesday afternoons.
Mr. Brown from S4A (Sports 4 All) will be our PE coach, helping us to shine brightly in our lessons. Please ensure that your child comes in wearing their PE kit on this day and that each item is named.
We are trying to encourage independence- remind your child to keep/return homework books, reading records and water bottles to their bags, each day!

Please remember to first enjoy Times Table Rock Stars (TTRS), a SPAG.com quiz of your choice (at least one a week!), daily reading recorded in your record, and any outstanding homework assignments, to earn housepoints!

See below, this half-terms' home learning activities!
Attached is a letter stating our expectations of what each child should achieve in order to successfully embed and share their learning, with you. We earn house points based on returning work on time and clear effort involved- it's wonderfully seeing you putting your hearts into it (especially daily learning, like reading and TTRS which helps develop our brains, our resilience, our connections and our ability to comprehend, learn and embrace opportunities- see our Homework tab, for more) we still receive a house point, even if work is late.
Please remember to complete homework and hand it in on Wednesday, when we test our spellings. This way it's ready to mark, share and return to you on Friday (we want our house points totalled on Thursday ready for Celebration Collective Worship!).
