Welcome to Hedgehog Class

We are a class of Reception children.
Our teacher is Mrs. Rudiger and our teaching assistant is Mrs Wheeler.

Please ensure you read the school newsletters sent via ParentMail for upcoming dates and key information about the children's transition to Year 1.

You will find  a timetable below to see what we learn and when each week but the information here will help you equip your child for each days activities:

During the summer term, we have even more opportunities for outdoor learning and play.
Your child needs a
NAMED sunhat and water bottle every day.  Suncream should be applied before school by parents/carers.
Shoes should be suitable for active play.
If rain is forecast, bring a named waterproof coat.  Shoes should be safe and suitable for active play.

PE will now be on a Thursday afternoon.
Please ensure your children come to school dressed in PE kit.
Tracksuit trousers or leggings and trainers are recommended, with a sunhat for hot days.

Forest school will be on a Friday Morning.
All children need a Forest School kit in school so that they can keep dry and comfortable for outdoor learning activities on any day though.
This must include fully waterproof coat and over-trousers, wellies and spare socks. As the weather gets warmer please add a sun hat.  It is important that arms and legs are covered for these sessions to avoid scratches and bites - avoid shorts and t-shirts please.

Your child also needs to have a change of clothes in school. This is in case they  get wet, muddy or have a toiletting accident.

You can find out about what we are learning each week by looking at the updates on this page (see right) and logging in to see the photos and observations of our group and individual learning on the Seesaw app.
